Glass Mosaics
My love for glass mosaics began in sixth grade. I had just moved from Israel to Oregon and struggled to make friends. I joined the school's mosaic club and fell in love with the art form. Creating helped distract me from the social and academic struggles I was going through and make beauty out of broken pieces.

Let's Get Lost
First place people's choice award at Sequoia Gallery.
This piece was inspired by my desire to escape and travel. At the time, I had lived in Oregon for four years, but it still didn't feel like my home.

Diver
First place people's choice award at Sequoia Gallery.
I was inspired to create this piece by my stepfather's adventures past. In his young-adult years he worked as a scuba diver in the Red Sea.
In 2021 I finally received a SCUBA diving certificate. This piece now also reflects my love for SCUBA diving and holds multiple meanings for me.
2020
Portland Waterfront
I began this piece in 2016. It is my largest piece to date, measuring 24" x 36". After several months of work, I had put this piece aside. It sat untouched until the COVID-19 Pandemic. This piece reflects my growth as an artist. When I returned to the piece in 2020 I decided to try breaking my glass into different shapes. This is showcased through the texture and movement in the water and grass.
